What is Dukaribu?
Dukaribu is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. On the seller side, it offers the solution of reaching the larger audience of the Greatwall Gardens Community. This provides them with the opportunity to generate more leads and revenue from a wider portion of the market.
On the buyer side, it offers the solution of conveniently shopping from their home from sellers who are local and nearby within the community. This provides them with the value of buying daily goods such as bread and milk from a local mini-mart and having it delivered in less than 20 min as opposed to walking to the shop to make the purchase.
Who is a Buyer?
Any permanent, seasonal or one-off resident within the Greatwall Gardens (GWG) Community who is willing to spend money with the GWG economy.
Who is a Seller?
Any individual or business that conducts an economic activity through the provision of goods or services operating within the GWG economy.
What is Greatwall Gardens?
GWG is a large-scale housing project located in Athi River with 5 complete Phases with a 6th one currently undergoing construction. The project is relatively new, under ten years, but has managed to gather the residency of over 15,000 people. Each phase has numerous apartment buildings ranging from 2000 houses in Phases 1, 4, & 5 and 600 houses in Phases 2 & 3.
What is the Greatwall Gardens Community?
The sense of belonging to a collective that GW residents feel since they are all connected by one unifying name, similar infrastructure, and experiences. Some of the qualities that make the community proud of belonging include: the houses are relatively affordable, fairly modern in build, and have an organized estate management. Additionally, the economy is relatively self-sustaining, it is slightly out of town but is convenient due to the access to the expressway.
